# What is Aletheia, the School of Aesthetics art tool?

> Aletheia at https://goninoschool.com/aesthetics/aletheia — describe an image, place a character, a scene, and a style, choose up to 10 of 123 catalogued styles, and create it. One free image with a free account; Aletheia on its own is $9.99 a month for 100 images a month.

## How does it work?

1. Describe the image you want — or place saved cards: a character, a scene, a style.
2. Choose styles from the catalogue of **123 styles of the canon** — movements, traditions, mediums, and digital families, from Attic red-figure to Greco-Futurism. Up to 10 styles combine into one work.
3. Pick the frame (1:1, 4:3, 3:4, 16:9, 9:16, 3:2, 2:3, 2:1, 1:2), the count (1, 2, or 4 images), and the detail (1K or 2K).
4. Create. Save characters, scenes, styles, and whole compositions as cards to reuse; save the images you want in your art gallery at /aesthetics/works.

## What does it cost?

| Tier | Allowance | Requirements |
|---|---|---|
| Free | 1 image | A free account |
| Aletheia | 100 images a month | $9.99/month, cancel anytime — also included in the tools subscription and the Junto |

Unsaved images are deleted after 30 days; press **Save** to keep one permanently.

## What is the Agora?

Opt-in networking for signed-in students: find allies in your fields of study. Your works stay yours — only shared interests are visible, and names appear only when both sides agree.

## Can agents create works?

Not through a public endpoint. A signed-in student can drive the studio from a terminal or an agent with the School's local command-line / MCP client, using their own account and allowance. See [/agents.md](https://goninoschool.com/agents.md).
